The “G. Rossini” Conservatory of Music in Pesaro is organizing the first International Opera Singing Masterclass held by Maestro José Carreras. The Masterclass is open to singers of all nationalities and will be held from January 11th – 16th, 2016 in the Pedrotti Auditorium of the Rossini Conservatory.
Participation conditions
Interested students must submit an application (form available here) together with an enrollment fee of € 150, to be paid by bank transfer to:

The registration form must reach the course’s Secretariat by December 10th, 2015. Upon registration you will need to specify your voice register and indicate the repertoire you wish to work on.
Pre-selection
Students applying for active participation will be required to pass a pre-selection audition which will take place on Saturday, January 9th, 2016 at the “Rossini” Conservatory. Details and audition schedule will be communicated by e-mail to the addresses provided in the application form. Students who are not admitted may attend the Masterclass as passive participants.
Course fees
Students selected for active participation will be required to pay the course fee of € 1.200(net) by bank transfer (see account info above) or by credit card.
Passive participants will be required to pay an attendance fee of € 300 by the first day of the Masterclass. In this case, cash payment will also be accepted.
Masterclass schedule and final concert
The Masterclass schedule, which may be subject to changes due to organizational requirements, is Monday, January 11th to Saturday, January 16th from 11.00 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. and from 4.00 p.m. to 7.00 p.m.
The Piano accompanists will be made available to the students by the Rossini Conservatory.
On Saturday, January 16th at 9.00 p.m., at the end of the Masterclass, a final concert with the participation of the best students will be held at the Pedrotti Auditorium of the Conservatory.
