After becoming interested in jazz, he furthered his studies on saxophone with Maurizio Giammarco and Rosario Giuliani, and attended seminars with musicians such as Giovanni Tommaso, Danilo Rea, Ramberto Ciammarughi, Enzo Pietropaoli, Fabio Zeppetella, Fabrizio Sferra, Daniele Scannapieco, Roberto Gatto, Dado Moroni, Salvatore Bonafede, Marco Tamburini, Jim Snidero and, in 2001, with the saxophonist George Garzone. Over the years he has performed with various ensembles with which he has taken part in festivals and concert series, collaborating and recording with Fabrizio Bossi, Paolo Di Sabatino, Ettore Fioravanti, Roberto Gatto, Bebo Ferra, Paolo Fresu, Roberto Ottaviano, Tom Kennedy, Ralph Alessi, Geg\u00e8 Telesforo, Mario Rosini, Roy Paci, Fabio Morgera, Max Ionata, Kelly Joyce, the Berardi Jazz Connection, Anne Ducros, Jazz Studio Orchestra, Vince Mendoza and the Symphony Orchestra of Bari Province. He has recorded for Alfamusic, Dodicilune, Philology, Abeat, Universal, Antibe Music, Sony Music, Etnagigante and Rai Trade. As an orchestral musician he has taken part in television and radio broadcasts for RAI. Alongside his work as a saxophonist and teacher, he is also active as an arranger, collaborating with artists such as Antonella Ruggiero, Chiara Civello, Antonella De Grossi, Roy Paci and Diodato (68th Festival di Sanremo).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>He began studying the clarinet at a very young age and in 1992 graduated from the Schipa Conservatoire of Lecce.
