A musician and music educator, he graduated in Organ and Organ Composition as well as in Music Education from the Rossini Conservatoire. He also attended advanced academic courses in Religious Studies, Philosophy and Pedagogy at the University of Urbino.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In 1991 and 1992, he participated in the regional training programme <em>Strategies and Techniques for Learning to Learn<\/em>, organised by IRRSAE Abruzzo for teacher trainers involved in the multi-year professional development project <em>New Programmes for Primary Schools<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Since 1996, he has taught Music Pedagogy at the conservatoires of Perugia, Sassari, Campobasso, Brescia, Foggia (Rodi Garganico branch), Bolzano and Novara. During the 2001\/2002 academic year, he also taught Music Theory and Sight-Singing at the Giulio Briccialdi Institute of Music in Terni.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He is currently Professor of Music Pedagogy for Music Education (SAD CODD\/04) at the Rossini Conservatoire. He also serves as adjunct lecturer at the ISSM \u201cClaudio Monteverdi\u201d in Cremona and at the Gaetano Braga Conservatoire within teacher-training programmes leading to the acquisition of the 24 CFA credits required for access to public teaching examinations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He is a trainer in the specialisation courses offered by the Fondazione Montessori Italia in Trento.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He has held adjunct teaching positions at the University of Basilicata \u2013 Faculty of Literature and Philosophy \u2013 Matera Campus, the University of Macerata, the University of Aosta Valley and the University of Milano-Bicocca.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He has participated in numerous important events in the field of music education. In September 2018, he led the workshop <em>Maria Montessori and Musical Competence<\/em> at the International Conference <em>The Montessori Utopia \u2013 Peace, Rights, Freedom and Environment<\/em>, organised in Trento by Fondazione Montessori Italia. In May 2018, he was a speaker at the seminar <em>Agazzi\u2013Bassi\u2013Montessori: The Contemporary Relevance of the Musical Pedagogy of Rosa Agazzi, Laura Bassi and Maria Montessori<\/em>, organised by the Luca Marenzio Conservatoire in Breascia. In April 2016, again in Brescia, he lectured at the seminar <em>Music Therapy and Specific Learning Disorders<\/em>. He was also a speaker at the 30th (1999) and 33rd (2002) International Conferences on Music Education in Gorizia, organised by the Seghizzi Association. In March 2000, he appeared as an expert guest on the RAI 3 programme <em>Mosaico<\/em>, and in April 2000 he led a music workshop for preschool teachers at the national professional development course <em>Where Is the Child Going&#8230;?<\/em>, organised in Grosseto by the journal <em>Scuola Materna<\/em> and the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan (Brescia Campus) in collaboration with La Scuola Publishing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He served on the editorial boards of the educational journals of La Scuola Publishing: <em>Scuola Materna<\/em>, <em>Scuola Italiana Moderna<\/em> and <em>Scuola e Didattica<\/em>, published by La Scuola of Brescia. He has also published articles on music pedagogy and music education methodology in specialist journals including <em>Mondo Montessori<\/em>, <em>Spaziomusica <\/em>(online journal), <em>Pedagogia e Vita<\/em>, <em>La Vita Scolastica<\/em>, <em>Cultura e Educazione<\/em>, <em>Infanzia<\/em>, <em>L\u2019ErbaMusica<\/em>, <em>La Cartellina<\/em>, <em>Musicultura On Line<\/em> and <em>Educare.it <\/em>(online journal).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For La Scuola Publishing, he has authored several educational works, including <em>Il paese dei 7 suoni<\/em> (for preschool education), <em>Musica, riflessioni e progetti per l\u2019attivit\u00e0 di laboratorio<\/em> (for primary schools), <em>Scarabocchi sonori <\/em>(for preschool education), <em>Filastrocca di Natale<\/em> (CD and teaching booklet), and <em>La storia di Natale<\/em> (CD and teaching booklet).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Over the years, he has worked extensively in teacher training programmes for preschool and primary school teachers organised by IRRSAE Marche and Abruzzo, the Directorate of Preschool Education of the Republic of San Marino, the La Scuola Training Agency (in various areas: Pescara, Chieti, Padova, Ravenna, Bari, Adria, Castelnuovo Fogliani\/Pv), he collaborated with the FIDAE branch of Nuoro, and he taught the Course of differentiated instruction on the Agazzi method at the Pasquali\u2013Agazzi Institute in Brescia. In 2010 he also collaborated with the Marche Region\u2019s vocational training courses for social and theatre animators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For many years he served as organist and choir director at the Cathedral of San Ciriaco in Ancona and founded and directed the Piccolo Coro Citt\u00e0 di Falconara. As a composer of children\u2019s songs, he participated in the national festival <em>Canzoni e Colori<\/em>, organised by RadioNuova of Macerata. His awards include: Second Prize (second edition in 2005\u20132006) for the piece <em>Non Voglio Solfeggiare<\/em>; Special Prize for Best Composer from the Marche Region (third edition in 2006\u20132007) for the piece <em>Il Pesciolino Mario<\/em>; Special Prize for Best Composer from the Marche Region, institute of the Province of Macerata (fourth edition in 2007\u20132008) for the piece <em>L\u2019Emporio di Vittorio<\/em>; The Family Award from the Christian Family Counselling Centres of the Province of Macerata and the <em>Balcone delle Marche<\/em> Award (sixth edition in 2009\u20132010), from the perspective of the young people of Cingoli \u2013 MC, for the piece <em>Mannaggia al Diavoletto che C\u2019ha Fatto Litigar<\/em>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Pietro Diambrini was born in Ancona in 1961.
