Recipient of musicological awards and scholarships, her research focuses particularly on previously unexplored aspects of Liszt\u2019s works and biography, the symphonic poem, and women composers\u2014topics to which she has devoted monographs, edited volumes, essays, and critical editions. Among her most recent publications are the monograph *Franz Liszt a Pisa* (2018), the essays *Women Composers in Liszt\u2019s Eyes* (2025), *Le Triomphe de la mort: il Totentanz di Liszt come espressione dell\u2019unit\u00e0 delle arti* (2020), *Liszt, Sgambati, Jessie Laussot* (2018), and *Il soggetto o i soggetti? La Dante-Symphonie di Franz Liszt* (2018), as well as the first edition of an unpublished version of Liszt\u2019s *Jeanne d\u2019Arc au b\u00fbcher* for contralto, piano and organ (2022). She is also co-editor of the volume *Women Composers in New Perspectives, 1800\u20131950: Genres, Contexts and Repertoires* (2023), with Susan Wollenberg. In the field of musical production and thought from the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, she has worked on Marco Enrico Bossi (2012, 2022), Ferruccio Busoni (2017), Augusta Holm\u00e8s (2010, 2012, 2016, 2025), and Felix Weingartner (2017). As a speaker, she has participated in national and international conferences on topics ranging from historical musicology to musical analysis and the psychology of music, with regular contributions to international Liszt conferences organised by academic institutions such as the Liszt Museum and the Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest. She has published essays and articles in specialist journals (Analyse musicale, Music Perception, Quaderni dell\u2019Istituto Liszt, Studia Musicologica) as well as in general-interest publications (Notiziario d\u2019Informazione Bibliografica, Classic Voice, Il Corriere Musicale, Musica Domani), and has written concert programme notes for institutions such as Musica Insieme, the Accademia Filarmonica di Bologna, and Teatro alla Scala. From 2005 to 2008 she led music outreach workshops for secondary school students and adults (LADIMUS) at the Casa della Musica in Parma.In the field of editorial production aimed at high-level musical dissemination, she published the volume *Con molta espressione. La scrittura musicale dal Seicento all\u2019Ottocento* (2024), co-authored with Marina Toffetti. From 2001 to 2021 she collaborated with the Liszt Institute Foundation in Bologna as a member of the scientific and editorial board of the *Quaderni dell\u2019Istituto Liszt*, as co-curator of the archive and organiser of musical activities. A member of the Academic Council of the Rossini Conservatoire since the 2023\/2024 academic year, she is currently coordinator of the PhD programme in \u201cMusical Performance and Interpretation\u201d.
