He continued his studies by attending the International Saxophone Course and the Chamber Music Course with the Ensemble International de Saxophone in Bordeaux (France), under Jean Marie Londeix, world-renowned saxophonist and concert performer, graduating with highest distinction. He is a prizewinner of national and international competitions, both as a soloist and as a member of chamber ensembles. In 1984 he won the prestigious National Saxophone Competition \u201cLa Scala di Milano\u201d. He was a founding member in 1984 of the Italian Saxophone Orchestra conducted by Federico Mondelci, and with this acclaimed ensemble he has performed both in Italy and abroad, receiving strong public and critical acclaim. He is a member and founding partner of ASI (Associazione Saxofonisti Italiani) since 1984, with which he carries out teaching activities at the annual International Saxophone Workshop. He has collaborated with Jean Marie Londeix, Federico Mondelci, Luciano Berio, Salvatore Sciarrino, Fabrice Moretti, Claude Delangle, J\u00e9r\u00f4me Laran, Naomi Sullivan, Javier Girotto, Massimo Mazzoni, Mario Marzi, and Marco Gerboni. In 1992 he performed with the Ex Novo Ensemble of Venice, under the artistic direction of Claudio Ambrosini, for the concert series in tribute to Luigi Nono. After teaching saxophone at the Venezze Conservatoire of Rovigo, where he also served as a member of the Academic Council for two terms, since 2013 he has been Professor of Saxophone at the Rossini Conservatoire of Pesaro.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Stefano Venturi studied at the Rossini Conservatoire of Pesaro under Romano Mauriello, graduating with top marks in 1982.
