Serenella Secchiero holds diplomas in Piano and Harpsichord. She subsequently completed her studies, graduating in Organ and Organ Composition at the \u201cMartini\u201d Conservatoire of Bologna under Umberto Pineschi. Her training was further enriched through advanced courses with several internationally renowned musicians, including Luigi Ferdinando Tagliavini, Marie-Claire Alain, Harald Vogel, Michel Chapuis, Ton Koopman and Michael Radulescu. After teaching appointments at the Conservatoires of Campobasso and Monopoli, since 2001 she has been Professor of Organ and Organ Composition at the Rossini Conservatoire of Pesaro. Alongside her academic activity, she has long collaborated with the International Academy of Organ and Early Music \u201cGiuseppe Gherardeschi\u201d in Pistoia, where she promotes artistic and educational projects, including a course on \u201cLiterature for Two Organs\u201d, making use of historical and valuable instruments. She also collaborates with the Savena Setta Sambro Study Group, which organises the concert series \u201cItinerari Organistici Giorgio Piombini\u201d. She has promoted and produced several CDs under the auspices of the Rossini Conservatoire, recorded on restored historical instruments, including the Willem Hermans organ of 1664. As a soloist, she has performed both in Italy and abroad, with a particular preference for historical instruments. She has also served on ministerial working groups for the second examination paper of Italian Music High School final exams.
