At the age of twelve he performed Bach\u2019s Concerto in A major under the conduction of G. Taverna, R. Abbado, and Riccardo Chailly. Shortly afterwards he won first absolute prize at the Osimo and La Spezia competitions. At fourteen he gave his first piano recital in Florence and, two years later, was the only Italian finalist at the International Piano Competition of Senigallia. After completing his studies at the Conservatoire of Pesaro, following a classical secondary education, he graduated from the Conservatoire of Milan with top marks under the guidance of Riccardo Risaliti. An eclectic musician, he has devoted himself with passion to chamber music, performing a wide repertoire that includes much of the duo literature with strings and flute, in collaboration with renowned instrumentalists, including the flautist M. Larrieu. In duo with violin he has performed for Rai 1 and Rai 3. He won first prize in quintet with winds at the International Competition of Capri. He has accompanied celebrated opera singers in concert, including the bass Mirco Palazzi, and has served as accompanist for masterclasses at the School of Tenors \u201cB. Gigli\u201d. He has arranged Piazzolla\u2019s *The Four Seasons* for piano and cello orchestra. A deep connoisseur of the repertoire for saxophone and piano, from 1994 to 2023 he performed in duo with the saxophonist Federico Mondelci, with whom he performed with Italy\u2019s most important concert societies, as well as abroad in Montenegro, Germany and the United States. Also in duo with Mondelci he performed for the Quirinale Concerts broadcast by Rai Radio 3. He has recorded a world premiere CD of works for piano, piano and cello, and piano and voice by the composer L. Zanuccoli.
