He graduated in Composition, Choral Music and Choral Conducting, and Instrumentation for Wind Band at the Rossini Conservatoire in Pesaro. He attended the \u201cMusic for Film\u201d seminar given by Ennio Morricone at the Accademia Chigiana.
His output includes works for instrumental and vocal chamber ensembles, as well as sacred polyphonic pieces for mixed choir, published by the publishing houses Curci, Carrara and Sonitus. On the occasion of the bicentenary of the birth of Giacomo Leopardi, he composed the music for the theatre production E come il vento. He collaborates regularly with the Duo R\u00e9sonance (Vincenzo Isaia, Principal Clarinet of the Italian Army Band, and pianist Francesco Del Fra), for whom he has written original compositions, arrangements and transcriptions.
He is conductor of the \u201cCitt\u00e0 di Camerano\u201d Choir, and has previously been conductor of the \u201cAngelico Rosati\u201d Choir of Sant\u2019Elpidio a Mare and the \u201cMezio Agostini\u201d Opera Choir of Fano, with whom he has performed concerts and taken part in opera productions, also collaborating in opera concerts with singers such as Luciano Pavarotti, Leo Nucci, Andrea Bocelli, Diana Damrau, Montserrat Caball\u00e9 and Raina Kabaivanska.
For the 1999 opera season of the Teatro Ventidio Basso of Ascoli Piceno, he served as chorus master in Bellini\u2019s Norma, and in 2000 in Puccini\u2019s Madama Butterfly. As chorus master he recorded for RAI Stereo Due the concert with tenor Juan Diego Fl\u00f3rez at the Teatro della Fortuna of Fano, and for the record label Bongiovanni the opera Paolo e Francesca by Mancinelli, La Cabrera by Dupont, Il Paria by Donizetti, and, as conductor, F. Farroni\u2019s Stabat Mater. He has served as chorus master in operas including Norma, Tosca, Rigoletto, Il trovatore, Turandot, Cavalleria rusticana, L\u2019elisir d\u2019amore, Le nozze di Figaro, Il barbiere di Siviglia, Madama Butterfly and La boh\u00e8me (stage direction by L. Pavarotti).
From 2008 to 2010 he directed the Chorus of the Teatro della Fortuna of Fano, with which he took part in productions of Bizet\u2019s Carmen, Donizetti\u2019s Le convenienze ed inconvenienze teatrali and Il campanello, both recorded on DVD for the Bongiovanni label. For the 42nd edition of the International Accordion Prize \u201cCitt\u00e0 di Castelfidardo\u201d (PIF 2017), he composed Diat\u00e9ssaron, the compulsory piece for the competition section.
