The state Conservatory of Music Rossini hosts the 6th edition of the International opera singing masterclass held by Maestro Josè Carreras and open to singers of all ages and nationalities. The Masterclass, which is open to singers of all nationalities, is going to take place from October 4th – 9th, 2021 in the “G. Rossini” Conservatory of Music, Piazza Olivieri 5, Pesaro.

REGISTRATION
Interested students must submit the application (download here) and pay the € 150.00 fee to confirm the adhesion. This amount, which cannot be reimbursed in any case, must be paid by bank transfer to:

Registration must be received by the Intercontact Organizing Secretariat within the 4th of September 2021. When registering, it is necessary to specify the vocal register and indicate the pieces that are to be perfected during the Masterclass.
Selection
Admission to the Masterclass is determined by an artistic commission composed by José Carreras, Lorenzo Bavaj and Fabio Masini, Director of the Rossini Conservatory, on the base of a 5 minutes video which the aspiring student will have to submit as follows. The video must contain one or more romances, or parts of them, taken from the lyrical repertoire. The judgment of the art commission is unquestionable.The videos need to be sent to the following contacts within the 4th of September 2021:

By September 10th 2021, students admitted to the Masterclass will be notified by e-mail to the address indicated on the registration form.
Students admitted to the Masterclass must pay, no later than the first day of lessons (Monday, October 4th), the sum of € 800.00 (net) by bank transfer to Intercontact srl, IBAN: IT88R030 6913 3041 0000 0063 595 – BIC swift: BCI TIT MM. All students not admitted will be able to attend the Masterclass as auditors. Auditor students will be able to participate to the Masterclass by filling in the registration form and paying a sum of € 150.00 (in addition to the payment methods already indicated, it will be possible, in this case, to accept payment in cash), no later than the first day of lesson (Monday, October 4th).
The timetable of the Masterclass, except for changes related to organizational needs, will be as follows: from Monday 4th to Saturday 9th of October from 10.00 to 13.00 and from 15.00 to 18.00. The Rossini Conservatory will make the collaborating pianists available to the actual students of the Masterclass.
The actual students taking part in the Masterclass will receive the attestation of the activity carried out.
Final concert
On Saturday 9th of October at 6.00 pm, at the end of the Masterclass, a final concert will be held at the Teatro Rossini, with the participation of the best students. Artistic directors, superintendents and operatic agents will be present at the concert.
