7th Gioachino Rossini International Bassoon Competition 

 

Degas_l'orchestreConservatorio Rossini organizes the 7° edition of the International Bassoon Competition “G. Rossini”. The contest is held every two years and it’s open to bassoonist of all nationalities. In the previous edition the Jury was composed by some of the main Italian and European bassoon players. In 2018 Patrick De Ritis, first solo-bassoonist of the Wiener Symphoniker Orchestra and Valentino Zucchiatti, first solo-bassoonist of the Orchestra del Teatro della Scala will attend as jury members. The winner, besides a cash prize, will have the chance to perform as soloist alongside the Orchestra del Conservatorio Rossini and the FORM-Orchestra Filarmonica Marchigiana. Deadline for application is 10th October 2018. 

 

At the end of the rounds, the Jury, composed by Ludovico Bramanti (Conservatorio Rossini’s Director and Presdient of the Jury), Patrick De Ritis and Valentino Zucchiatti, decided:
