He studied at the “L. Cherubini” Conservatory of Music in Florence where he was graduated with honors in 1991. He continued his studies following the Master Class Program’s of the Scuola di Musica di Fiesole and parteciped in the specialization courses held by J. Tomàs, A. Company, L. Brouwer and by O. Ghiglia at the Accademia Musicale Chigiana in Siena.
He has performed as a soloist and in chamber music groups for important musical institutions, orchestras and lyric-symphony organizations such as: Orchestra del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino (Opera of Florence), Teatro Comunale di Bologna, ORT Orchestra della Toscana, Contempoartensemble, Cantiere Internazionale d’Arte di Montepulciano (SI), playing under such conductors as Z. Metha, A. Davis, E. Mata, L. Berio, M. Stenz, W. Marshall, G. Ferro, R. Boer, F. Luisi.
He recorded two CD with the soprano Donatella Debolini with music of Mompou, Braga, Villa Lobos and Britten, Farkas, Gerhard, Castelnuovo Tedesco.
He teaches guitar at the “R. Franci” Conservatory in Siena since 2002 and after at the “G. Tartini” Conservatory in Trieste; he’s actually teaching at the “G. Rossini” Conservatory in Pesaro.
